Buttock Lift
Have you recently lost weight and now your buttocks sags? Were you born with a droopy buttock that you haven’t been able to improve through exercise? Have noticed considerable flabby and loose skin on your buttocks as you’ve have aged? Whatever reason, a buttock lift will improve the shape and tone of your buttocks, elevating it to a more-normal position.
A buttock lift involves making incisions typically across the top of the buttocks at the belt line, along the sides of the buttocks following their natural shape and below the buttocks. Scarring is inevitable but will fade over time (eventually becoming far less noticeable though never completely disappearing). Sometimes, a buttock lift is combined with other procedures – including liposuction, a thigh lift or tummy tuck. The results of your procedure can last for years but it’s important to exercise and eat sensibly to help maintain your new, smoother, tighter and more attractive appearance.
If you’re ready for a buttock augmentation, it’s time to discuss your goals with Robert Schmid, M.D., Lubbock's leading plastic and cosmetic surgon. He will explain your options and diffuse any concerns you may have about this cosmetic surgery procedure as he explains everything to you and answers your questions. He’ll take into account your lifestyle, goals and personal preferences in tandem with his sound, experienced surgical judgment when making recommendations to you. He will answer your questions and explain the entire process, working hard to diffuse any worries or concerns you may have.
For your reference, we’ve provided basic information on the procedure (in the box entitled “Buttock Lift at a Glance”) as well as arm lift before and after photos so you can see examples of Dr. Schmid’s work.
