Breast Augmentation & Enlargement
As a woman, there are many reasons you may want to have larger, fuller breasts. Has age, deformity, injury or illness affected the appearance of your breasts? Have they have lost their fullness over the years? Or, after a pregnancy or two, are they no longer as ample as they once were? Perhaps you've compared your breasts to other women's, feeling that yours weren't as sexy or appealing because they weren't as large as you would like.
These are very normal feelings, and breast augmentation (sometimes called breast enhancement) surgery can replace those negative feelings and increase your breast size – boosting your confidence; giving you a shapelier, more feminine appearance; and helping you look better in clothing and swimwear.
The best candidates for this procedure are women who want improvement, not perfection, in the way they look since breast augmentation can enhance your appearance and your self-confidence, but it won't necessarily cause other people to treat you differently or cause you to look your ideal. If you're physically healthy and realistic in your expectations, you may be a good candidate.
Once you are ready to move forward with obtaining larger breasts, it's time to discuss your feelings and goals with Dr. Robert Schmid, a leader in Lubbock breast augmentation. He will explain the various types of implants that can be used to give you the results you want and discuss the methods he will use to insert and position your implants. He will answer your questions and explain the entire process, working hard to diffuse any worries or concerns you may have.
For your reference, we've provided basic information on the procedure (in the box entitled “Breast Augmentation at a Glance”) as well as breast augmentation before and after photos so you can see examples of Dr. Schmid's work.
